Morgan Roger: "It was nice to play with Cole"

Newly signed Chelsea attacker Morgan Rogers opens up about his delight in playing alongside his childhood friend Cole Palmer. 

The former Aston Villa playmaker joined Chelsea for £117m after a breakout season with Aston Villa last season.

Rogers, however, hit the ground running in his first game for the Blues by scoring in the 41st minute to help Chelsea record a 3-2 win over city rivals Fulham.

 Morgan Rogers: “It was really nice to play with Cole”.

“It was something we've spoken about for a while; obviously, we've done it on an international level, but to do it for the club week-in, week-out and day-in, day-out is an honour really. It's just the start”.
