Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Hohoe United who redrew from the league competition in the course of the season has been handed a serious punishment by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
The Disciplinary Committee slaps Hohoe United FC with 3-season ban over Ghana Premier League withdrawal.
The club is also suspended from all other GFA competitions until 2029/2030 football season for their actions.
The Volta Regional based club is also ordered to refund all GFA support, including GHS 1 million, after Ghana Premier League withdrawal
Again, the sanctions include the demotion of Hohoe United with the club set to compete in the division two under the Greater Accra Regional Football Association upon completion of the suspension period.
