The planet’s best strikers will descend upon North America this summer, aiming to help guide their country to glory as the first line of defense and the channel for goals and possibly win the Golden boots award.

Here are the contenders to claim the 2026 prize.

Cristiano comes through with experience, and is also hellbent on winning the World Cup as it is likely going to be his last major tournament with the Portugal National team. 


He is the major attacking point of the team and he’s a proven striker with all statistics favouring him.

Kane is likely to win the Golden boot because England creates plenty of chances and Harry Kane is also a reliable penalty taker.

He is also a Consistent goal scorer in tournaments and has proven himself with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League this season.
