Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo opens up on the frustration they endured after Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 AFCON.
Semenyo who currently plays for Manchester City scored the winner in the FA Cup final against Chelsea last Saturday.
Semenyo who is tipped by many Ghanaians to lead the Black Stars to glory in the upcoming FIFA World Cup, says the Black Stars made amends for their failure to secure AFCON qualification by qualifying for the World Cup.
"We were so frustrated that we didn't qualify for the AFCON. It was very, very tough. But I feel like we've rectified that in terms of qualifying for the World Cup. But, we're not just coming to the World Cup, we want to compete on all levels” - Antoine Semenyo
