The Ghana Football Association and Head Coach Carlos Queiroz have released a 28-man squad for Ghana's friendly against Wales on June 2nd in Wales.
The call-up, as anticipated by many, is seen as the final squad for the World Cup, as FIFA will release the official squad of all participating Countries.
Abdul Baba Rahman returns after close to three years of being away from the National team. He replaces Derrick Kohn who starred in Ghana's last international friendly against Germany.
Debut call-ups have been handed to Solomon Agbasi of Hearts of Oak, Paul Reverson of Jong Ajax, and Augustine Boakye of St. Ettiene.
Some notable omissions were Kudus Muhammed, who missed out due to injury, Andre Ayew, Tarique Lamptey, Felix Afena-Gyan, and Joseph Paintsil, who also missed out on Ghana's 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana plays Wales in a preparation match for the World Cup and it will also be Carlos Queiroz's first match in charge of the Black Stars
