Letsile Tebogo makes history as he wins gold in Paris

Botswana sprinter Letsile Tebogo makes history as he becomes the first African to win the 200m race at any Olympic games competition.

Tebogo who witnessed Noah Lyles route to victory in the 100m race came all prepared for the 200m knowing very well it was his only chance to get a medal.

Tebogo overtook Kenneth Bednarek(USA) and Noah Lyles(USA) to win gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Letsile Tebogo unfortunately lost his mother earlier this year while preparing for the Olympics. What a wonderful way to honor his late mum.
