Felix Afena-Gyan makes a return into the Black Stars squad for Ghana’s friendly verses Mexico on May 22 after his long absence from the National team.
The squad is made of Ghana-based players, U23s & fringe National team players with the aim of giving them the opportunity to make Carlos Queiroz’s squad for the World Cup
Notable new entries are Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (Stoke), DaCosta Antwi (Anderlecht), Francis Amuzu (Gremio), Joseph Opoku (Zulte-Waregem) and Ibrahim Osman (Birmingham).
Locally based player like Solomon Agbesi (Hearts of Oak), Gideos Aseako (Dreams FC), Ebenezer Adade (Dreams FC), Ebenezer Abban(Hearts of Lions), Razak Simpson (Nations FC) and Salim Adams (Medeama SC) also made the squad.
