Gladys, affectionately called Gaza, from Saint Louis SHS, has suddenly become the name on everyone’s lips across Ghana—especially in Senior High Schools. 

Her breathtaking performance at the ongoing Super Zonals inside the iconic Baba Yara Sports Stadium has set the whole nation buzzing.


In the 200-meter girls’ finals, Gaza stunned the crowd with pure pace and power, defeating Fulera, Comfort, Adelaide, and even her own sister to clinch the title. 


The stadium erupted, rising to give her a standing ovation—an honor reserved only for the truly extraordinary.


Now, from Kumasi to Accra, students and sports lovers are shouting one thing:

“GAZA is the future of Ghana athletics!”


Many are already tipping her as Ghana’s next big hope for the Olympic Games, with dreams of seeing her carry the flag proudly on the world stage next year.
